A woman accused of ramming bystanders with her car is recovering after being shot by Oklahoma City police in the parking lot of a night club.

Ebony Randolph was shot at least once in the face and was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.

Officers said Randolph was driving her vehicle in circles trying to hit people near SW 24 and Harvey Avenue on Saturday morning. Randolph struck at least one person and then turned her vehicle on the officers, police said.

When she didn't stop, the officers drew their weapons, Capt. Steve McCool said.

"Both officers drew their weapons and discharged their weapons, striking the driver, the suspect, of the vehicle at least one time," McCool said.

The two officers were placed on routine administrative leave, pending an investigation. McCool said no one else was seriously injured.
