Scattered showers and strong thunderstorms will continue to affect the state through Thursday.
Thursday evening, scattered showers and and few storms were still moving through the eastern half of the state. Earlier Thursday, much-needed rain fell on the Panhandle and northwest regions of the state.
Rain chances will gradually decrease Thursday evening. The next chance for rain in the state comes in Saturday night with a cold front.
