Sunny and hot! After a brief rain shower scare yesterday afternoon, the majority of the state will remain dry this weekend with the exception of far eastern Oklahoma. Daytime highs will easily reach the lower and middle 90s, and close to 100 across western portions of the state.
The UV Index is an 11+, putting it in the extreme category. Take the necessary sun exposure precautions: apply a sun screen of SPF 15+ periodically, wear protective clothing, and avoid long exposure to the sun.
