MEXICO CITY (AP) -- Tropical Storm Boris is weakening far off Mexico's Pacific coast and isn't a threat to land.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center says the storm's maximum sustained wind speeds have fallen to 65 mph (100 kph.) It is located hundreds of miles off Mexico's Pacific Coast and is expected to continue to move out to sea.

Farther out in the Pacific, a second tropical storm, Cristina, weakened to a tropical depression on Monday. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 35 mph (55 kpm) and isn't expected to threaten land.
