Driver arrested in fatal crash

A woman was arrested after allegedly killing a person on Wednesday in a collision in downtown Oklahoma City.

Tara Franks allegedly was driving the wrong way on Hudson Avenue when she slammed into another vehicle, killing the person inside, police said.

Paramedics took Franks to the hospital. Officers said there was an odor of alcohol on her breath.

She was arrested and on complaints of second-degree murder, DUI and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
