High-speed chase ends in crash

At least one man was arrested Monday after leading Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers on a high-speed chase that ended with the suspect crashing into a tree along a Pottawatomie County road.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested at least one after they were led on a high-speed chase that ended in the driver crashing into a tree along a Pottawatomie County road, authorities said.

Officials said the chase began near Interstate 40 and Air Depot when the driver resisted OHP's efforts to stop him. He then went east before crashing near Walker Road.

The driver suffered minor injuries and will be treated and released into authority custody.

The driver reached speeds of up to 100 mph during the 30 to 45 minute chase.
