Former Minco city clerk to be sentenced

Former Minco City Clerk Sherri Bomgardner is set to be sentenced Monday in Grady County.

State Auditor Jeff McMahan investigated Minco's finances last year and found more than $6,000 missing. 

According to McMahan's report, records were poorly maintained, inconsistent and, in some cases, missing.

Bomgardener resigned from her post as city clerk after stating she had improperly taken funds from the traffic ticket payments.
