Oklahoma City Police continue to search for a suspect involved in an assault with a deadly weapon and robbery last week.
A woman was attacked while parked outside an Oklahoma City mall Tuesday night, police said.
The woman was in the parking lot of Northpark Mall, NW 122 and May Ave., when a man jumped inside her vehicle and began attacking her, police said.
"She said the suspect produced a butcher knife and stabbed her two or three times, punched her in the face and then began to choke her," said Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Gary Knight. "She said at some point she lost consciousness and was thrown into the back seat of the vehicle."
The woman later regained consciousness, jumped out of the car and was run over by her assailant, police said.
The woman's empty car later was found ablaze near Indian Creek Boulevard.
"Right now we do not have a suspect identified or under arrest," Knight said.
The woman was taken to a local hospital.
Anyone with information about this case, should call Crimestoppers at 235-7300.
