A third suspect in a fatal hit-and-run accident, 22-year-old Alex Ander Gramajo-Rodas, was arrested after turning himself in Thursday morning.
Gramajo-Rodas faces charges of Manslaughter, Leaving the Scene of a Fatality Accident, False Personation and Disregarding a Traffic Light after he intentionally drove through a red light, hitting a Ford Explorer.
The impact killed 12-year-old Cynthia Rodriguez.
Two men were arrested following the accident after leading police on a high-speed chase in southwestern Oklahoma City.
Police said they were called out to investigate a suspicious car at SW 29th St. and N. Western Ave. when the car in question, a black Geo Tracker, took off with five men inside of the car. Police said they chased the car until the chase became too dangerous to continue.
After police called off their chase, the fleeing car hit the Ford Explorer on SW 29 St. and continued speeding away, authorities said. Soon after the alleged hit-and-run, police caught up with some of the suspects, they said.
"Once it stopped, the officers set up a perimeter and located the driver and another subject," said Lt. Chris Gayhart with the Oklahoma City Police Department.
