Mail carriers want to do more than just deliver mail; they want to help the people they see every day.
For 19 years, Brenda Rockwell has been delivering mail to neighborhoods across Oklahoma City. She sees those who have a lot and those who struggle to make it every day.
So to help the thousands of people who go hungry everyday Rockwell and other mail carriers are leaving more than bills in the mailbox today; they're leaving a plastic bag that you can fill up with non-perishable food.
Steve Riggs, with the National Association of Letter Carriers, came to the NEWS 9 studio with more on the Stamp out the Hunger Food Drive.
