GUTHRIE, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Medical Examiner's office has ruled that a Guthrie man found dead in his home a week ago died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head.
A Logan County sheriff's deputy discovered Warren Wesley Little Sr. dead at his home about midnight April 19. Guthrie resident Alric Olaf Smith remained in the Logan County jail without bail Friday in connection with the killing.
According to an affidavit, Little had three bullet wounds to the head. His pickup truck and horse trailer were missing from the home.
The affidavit says April 17 surveillance video from a local convenience store showed a man driving the victim's truck and trailer into the parking lot at south Douglas Boulevard and east Charter Oak Road.
Authorities identified the man in the video as Smith, 39, who was charged earlier this week with first-degree murder.
