Woman dies, man injured in Midwest City shooting

A woman died and another man was injured in a shooting Monday night in Midwest City.

Titania Harkless and her husband Patrick were with friends near Tel Star Park when they were confronted by several individuals, police said.

Police said the shooting happened near NE 16 Street and Christine Drive at around 10:20 p.m. on Monday. Blood and shell casings were found at the scene, but no suspects have been identified, said police.

Titania and Patrick showed up at a nearby hospital, said investigators, where Titania later died. Shot once in the leg, Patrick is expected to recover, said officials.
