After a gorgeous weekend Oklahoma will be back on the showers and storms throughout the upcoming workweek. A fairly progressive upper-level pattern will send wave after wave of storms across the center part of the country, each wave bringing the chance of storms.
The first opportunity for storms will come Monday afternoon along a northward progressing warm front. A few storms may become severe along this boundary, late Monday afternoon and overnight, posing a large hail and strong wind threat. There is a slight chance for an isolated tornado or two, but it remains just that - slight.
The third storm system in the series takes aim on the Sooner State Wednesday and Thursday. Scattered thunderstorms and very heavy rain will be possible before the system clears the state early Friday morning.
