Tuesday night, a rare triple fly-by of space objects will occur, and should be visible to many in Oklahoma. Looking to the southeast, about a quarter of the way above the horizon, the "Jules Verne" Automated Transfer Vehicle will pass just ahead of the Shuttle Endeavour and the International Space Station. All objects will look like a bright star traversing the sky. To check what time these objects will be visible at your location, click on:

For Oklahoma City, the ATV will be visible from 8:30-8:34 p.m., and the Shuttle and ISS will be visible from 8:34-8:38 p.m. Skies are mostly clear early this evening, and should make the objects easier to spot.

Shuttle Endeavour is no longer docked with the Space Station after its recent mission, and is scheduled to land back in Florida Wednesday evening.
