Oklahoma City police have arrested a 16-year-old boy after a drive-by shooting left two people injured early Thursday morning.

Oklahoma City Police Master Sgt. Gary Knight says Carlos Ruiz was arrested on two complaints of shooting with intent to kill. Knight says the shooting appears to be domestic-related.

The two shooting victims were taken for treatment to an Oklahoma City hospital, to which police were called.

Knight said the men told police they were driving in southwest Oklahoma City when a pickup pulled up and an occupant fired at them.

Police said the two victims were driving on SW 44 St. just east of Western Avenue when a truck pulled up next to them and opened fire.
