An metro doctor is in the Oklahoma County jail Friday morning after being suspected of trying to cash several bad checks at Las Vegas casinos.

Dr. David Linden tried to cash $300,000 worth of bad checks at three separate casinos in Las Vegas, said the Clark County, Nevada district attorney. If charged, Linden's offenses will be considered felonies.

Linden practices psychiatry in both Las Vegas and Oklahoma City, authorities said. He was arrested at his Oklahoma City office Thursday morning and police said he will be extradited to Nevada.

This is not the first time Linden's character has come into question. In November 2006, his medical license was suspended for 45 days due to what the medical board calls sexual misconduct.
