1-19 ounce can cannellini beans
1/4 cup chopped flathead Italian parsley
2-4 cloves fresh garlic, peeled
1-3 teaspoons olive oil
Sea salt or regular salt to taste (Nutrition Information based on 1/8 teaspoon added salt)
1. Drain most of the liquid off the beans (leave a little liquid so that beans will blend well).
2. Place beans in electric food processor. (may use a blender). Process beans by pulsing briefly several times.
3. Add garlic, parsley, salt and oil, pulsing just until smooth. It may be necessary to turn off the processor and use a rubber spatula to push beans away from the side of the bowl during this process.
4. Serve with Whole Grain Pita Chips
