Last week NEWS 9's Doug Warner braved the windy skies and let a handful of balloons loose with messages attached. He found out he wasn't alone.
A couple months back the Tuttle Middle School students also gave the windy experiment a go as part of Red Ribbon Week.
Over 350 of the middle schoolers made pledges to stay drug-free, then delivered their pledge skyward.
"I'm guessing when the balloons fly away, drug dealers might get it and think about how it ruined their lives," said Seth Shelton, a Tuttle 6th grader.
Watch the Featured Video attached to this story to find the happy surprise Shelton got in response to his pledge.
