Sen. Hillary Clinton is the Democratic front runner in Oklahoma, according to NEWS 9 polls. Former President Bill Clinton visited the Sooner state Wednesday to try to help her maintain that lead.
The former president talked about what his wife would do if elected during a speech on the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman.
"I came here to ask you to help Hillary make history and build a better future for America," Clinton said.
Bill Clinton talked about the issues. He promised Hillary will make affordable health care available to all and that she will create more jobs by going green, and will reform government.
Political analyst Keith Gaddie said there's a reason Clinton chose the words that he did.
"If you look at young voters right now, young college voters, they're looking for answers and alternatives and solutions," Gaddie said. "They don't want to see the negativity, the cut and slash politics, they want to see ideas."
