Another 'Brick' in the wall

We've cleaned off the old bricks, set the alarm a little earlier, and prepared ourselves for another year of Friday morning entertainment down at the News 9 Bricktown Studios.  We now flip on the Bricktown flux capacitor at 5am.  We offer up a morning full of weekend event information and interviews .. and plenty of food .. as part of the most watched morning show in the state of Oklahoma, News 9 This Morning.

First things first - I love getting to Bricktown on Friday mornings at 5am - in part because I never have trouble finding a parking spot.  But the wonderful thing is, you won't have any trouble either if you dare get up and watch the show that early in person.  If not, you can still 'get the feel' of what's going on by just turning on your TV and watching it from the comfort of your home between 5am-7am.

Speaking of parking, it's gotten a lot easier for you to find a spot and afford a spot in Bricktown.  Remember, parking is free on Tuesday's after 5pm (and between 5am-7am during our show if you want to get technical about it).  You can also run down to Bricktown and eat lunch and park for free every weekday between 11am-3pm in the BPI Garage lot.  It's located just north off Main Street by the ceramic buffaloes and the railroad underpass.

A couple of new things to look for on Friday mornings now - weekly visits with the Bricktown Association and a full look at what's going on downtown before you make your weekend plans.  If it's happening in Bricktown this weekend, chances are we'll be talking about it, and showing you how you can enjoy it, the Friday morning before.

Also, there are some cool things about our new website, www.news9.com and our 'Bricktown Fridays' webpage.  If you've missed any segment or interview, we've T-Vo'ed if for you.  All you have to do is click on the video player at the top of the Bricktown page.  Also, you can 'Be Seen and Be Heard' by uploading you own pics and videos of you and your friends while at Bricktown.  All you have to do is click on the "YouNewsTV" icon and follow the promps.  We may just show it live on air.
