Homemade knives used in penitentiary stabbing

An Oklahoma State Penitentiary inmate is recovering in the hospital this morning.

The inmate suffered injuries to his hand, face and back when several other prisoners stabbed him with homemade knives yesterday. The inmate's name and condition is not being released.

The assistant warden reports five inmates were moved to a disciplinary area who were thought to be involved in the stabbing.
