A murder suspect is behind bars tonight after leading police on a high-speed chase through the metro. He's the fourth person arrested in connection with the murder.

Harrold Johnson Junior's arrest wasn't easy, according to police.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Warrant Squad spotted Johnson after a month of looking for him. Police say he murdered Jerrell Simmons in his apartment back in November.

"It was apparently a home invasion type robbery that turned into a homicide," said Master Sgt. Gary Knight of the Oklahoma City police.

Even with the sheriff's department and OHP on his tail, Johnson refused to pull over.

A trooper bumped his car in a tactical maneuver, forcing him to stop. The chase then continued on foot.

"The suspect then hopped this fence and ran through this apartment complex," Knight said.

The OHP helicopter tracked Johnson until deputies caught and cuffed him. He's the fourth and final person police wanted to arrest for murdering Jerrell Simmons. He joins the other suspects, Dejuan Penn, Sharee Asberry and Teleasha Jones behind bars.

"Anytime we can get somebody identified who's responsible for a homicide and get that person off the street, obviously that's a winning situation," Knight said. "That's also a win for the public because that's somebody who's not out there at large that the public has to worry about."

In addition to murder, Johnson will face charges for attempting to allude arrest and possession of a firearm in connection to today's chase.
