It was a crystal clear day Saturday at Arcadia Lake for those on the lookout for our country's national bird. Some adventurous bird watchers got a good look at least four different bald eagles. People traveled from as far away as Canada and Mexico to get a glimpse.

"It's a fun treat for young and old, middle aged," said Leon Mixer, Arcadia Lake Maintenance Supervisor. "It's something that they can get out here and enjoy the outdoors very much."

Arcadia Lake is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m Sunday for eagle spotting and costs $3 per car.
