Located in an obscure Oklahoma City strip mall is a family owned business that's preserving treasures of the past.

"It's literally a timeless art," Christian Portwood said about clock restoration. "We have clocks here ranging from 400 years old to brand new, and it's a labor of love for us."

Portwood really didn't have a choice in becoming a clock craftsman.

"I was born into it, you bet," he said. "My family, again, has collected for years. And so I've just became fascinated and appreciated them."

Dick Michael is the owner of Michael's Antique Clocks. He started his shop out of necessity.

"I was a collector. I love clocks. I loved old clocks," Michael said. "I had a business that carried me to many parts of the United States. While I was in different cities and areas, why I would enquire 'Who's got clocks?' and I'd go look at them, and many times I could find collections or part of collections to buy. And I would buy the collection of clocks, keep what I wanted, and sell the rest off."
