Hangovers are a common product of many New Year's celebrations. However, the cure may not be as difficult as it seems.

Doctors recommend you to make sure and drink plenty of water, fruit juices or soft drinks while you drink alcohol.

Another thing to remember is to eat a good meal when you wake up the next morning. While you may not feel like eating, carbohydrates such as bread and crackers are good for refueling your body.

Doctors say to make sure you treat your symptoms and stay active.

"Some studies have shown the darker the alcohol, the more likely that it can cause hangover symptoms," Dr. Andrew Yacht of the Maimonides Medical Center said.

Taking an aspirin in the morning when you wake up may be helpful as well.
