OU band arrives in Arizona

Taking 300 college students across the country is easy for Brian Britt.

"It's actually harder for me to travel to a family reunion than it is to take 300 students halfway across America," the director of the Pride of Oklahoma said.

The OU marching band left Thursday to travel to Phoenix for the Fiesta Bowl.

The band will head south to pick up their Texas members in Ft. Worth and then head west for the desert.

"It's like going on a trip with 300 of your best friends," said Jensen Mecca, band member.

The band will march in the Fiesta Bowl Parade on Saturday before performing during halftime at the during the game on Wednesday.
