There is another Presley headed to Stillwater.
Bixby standout and four-star defensive back Braeden Presley has committed to Oklahoma State, announcing his decision on Thursday via Instagram. The youngest of the highly athletic Presley brothers, Braeden chose the Cowboys over a final four that included Oklahoma, Kansas State, and Texas Tech.
At 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, Presley is a bigger, more versatile version of his brothers Brennan (OSU’s all-time leader in receptions) and Braylin (now at Tulsa). Though he possesses offensive playmaking ability, Braeden is expected to make his mark primarily on defense as a cornerback, bringing length, ball skills, and physicality to a position of need in Stillwater.
During his junior season at Bixby, Presley filled up the stat sheet on both sides of the ball. He recorded:
Presley was a first-team All-District selection, a UA Next Camp invitee, and is ranked the No. 58 cornerback nationally and the No. 10 player in Oklahoma in the 2026 class, according to On3’s Industry Ranking.
His commitment is a major in-state recruiting win for Mike Gundy and Oklahoma State.
Presley now joins a surging 2026 Oklahoma State recruiting class that includes fellow Oklahoma standouts Tajh Overton (Owasso), Kaydin "KD" Jones (Jenks), Trey McGlothlin (Bixby), Aiden Martin (Berryhill), and Carter Langenderfer (Owasso). Presley made note that several of those commits played a role in his decision.
This is the 13th commitment for the Cowboys’ class that has climbed into the top 10 in the Big 12 according to 247Sports.
More than just a family legacy, Braeden Presley brings shutdown corner potential and two-way versatility. And for Gundy and the Cowboys, he represents momentum and an opportunity for the Presley name to live on in Stillwater.
Q: What made you comfortable with the new coaching staff at Oklahoma State?
Braeden Presley: Even though it’s a new staff, I was already really familiar with Oklahoma State from previous visits. I’d been down there a few times and took an official visit, so it already felt like home. Talking with the new coaches helped me get used to them, and it just felt right. I just knew.
Q: Did your brothers Brennan and Braylin influence your decision?
Braeden Presley: Yeah, they talked to me a little bit. They didn’t pressure me, but it just felt like the best decision for me personally.
Q: What does it mean to you to follow in Brennan’s footsteps at OSU?
Braeden Presley: It means a lot. He left a legacy there, but I can’t live off of that—I have to build my own. I’ll be playing a different position, so while he did his thing on offense, I get to make my impact on the defensive side.
Q: How much did current OSU players recruit you?
Braeden Presley: A lot of them were hitting me up. Trey, Katie, Tahj—guys like that were texting me for the past few weeks, just telling me to come down and help build something special with a group of 918 guys. That really meant a lot to me.
Q: What are your early impressions of playing for Coach Gundy?
Braeden Presley: When I committed, he joked that he might have to call me “Deuce” since he can’t call me BP like Braylon. It already feels like family with him, kind of like what I have now with Coach Montgomery. Just another family.
