The Castle of Muskogee has officially launched its annual Castle Fireworks Sale, offering Green Country’s biggest selection of fireworks.
The event is designed to give families a fun, easy, and memorable shopping experience with expert staff, patriotic treats, and hundreds of products. Here’s what visitors need to know.
Castle Fireworks is Oklahoma's only indoor, 30,000-square-foot, air-conditioned fireworks retail showroom. There are over 500 unique products to purchase. It includes kid-safe novelties to 500-shot grand finales.
The fireworks include a QR code on the packaging so purchasers know what they are buying. There will also be staff members there to help shoppers.
Castle Fireworks is open every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. through July 5 at 3400 W. Fern Mountain Rd. in Muskogee.
Castle Fireworks offers a 10% discount for veterans. To take part, shoppers must show a valid military ID.
The Muskogee City Council approved a new ordinance in 2024. It tightened restrictions on fireworks within city limits in an effort to improve public safety.
The measure bans discharging fireworks at people or property and prohibits use on city property or within 500 feet of churches, schools, hospitals and other sensitive locations.
Violations are a misdemeanor, punishable by up to 60 days in jail, a fine, or both. Police and fire officials are authorized to seize fireworks used illegally.
