Tulsa firefighters investigate cause of house fire near 44th St. & MLK Jr. Blvd.

Firefighters contained the flames to two rooms of the house; there were no injuries. The cause is under investigation.

Tulsa firefighters are investigating what caused a home near 44th St. N. and MLK Jr. Blvd. to catch fire Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responded to the call around 9:30 a.m. with four Engines (19, 3, 10 and 24).

They said no one was inside the home during the fire, and it was contained to two rooms. They report extensive smoke damage to the home and that there were no working smoke alarms inside.

No firefighters were injured.

"We’re thankful our teams acted quickly and thoroughly," TFD shared online.
