Gov. Stitt orders flags to fly half-staff for 30th Anniversary of Murrah Building Bombing

Governor Kevin Stitt issues an executive order ordering all American and Oklahoma flags in Oklahoma to fly at half-staff for the 30th Anniversary of the Murrah Building bombing on April 19, 1995.

Gov. Kevin Stitt issues an executive order requiring the American and Oklahoma flags to be flown at half-staff for the 30th anniversary of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995.

According to Executive Order 2025-10, flags in Oklahoma will be flown at half-staff from 8 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, through 5 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025.

The executive order reads in part,

“30 years ago, 168 innocent lives were tragically lost in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. This senseless act of violence remains the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in the history of the United States. Among those killed were men, women, and children whose memories live on in the hearts of Oklahomans and Americans across the nation.”
