Preparations are underway for the 25th annual Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, with crews beginning to install tribute banners ahead of race weekend later this month.

OG&E workers started hanging the first of 168 banners in front of the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum. Each banner honors one of the 168 victims killed in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995.

The banners will be displayed in front of the memorial and museum, downtown OKCC, as well as along Classen and Lincoln boulevards.

The 2024 Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is scheduled for April 26–28.
