1 dead after Yukon standoff

One person is dead after a standoff in Yukon on Thursday, police say.

Officers say the standoff began as a disturbance call near Northwest 50th Street and Sara Road, before a man inside a home in the area refused to come outside.

Police closed the roads in the area, as the man was believed to be armed.

The standoff ended shortly before 12 a.m. on Friday, when police entered the home and found the man dead.
