Firefighters extinguish SW OKC house fire

A home in southwest Oklahoma City caught fire Tuesday morning, according to firefighters.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department says crews were called to a home near Southwest 86th Street and South Brookline Avenue shortly after 5 a.m.

Firefighters on the scene say the main section of the fire has been knocked down, but fire suppression efforts continue in other parts of the home.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
