House fire in northwest Oklahoma City causes $100K Damage and kills 1 pet

Oklahoma City and Edmond Fire departments responded to an Edmond house fire that left an animal dead and caused about $100,000 of damage.

Oklahoma City and Edmond Fire departments responded to an Edmond house fire that left an animal dead and caused about $100,000 of damage.

Authorities say the fire happened near Northwest 178th and Santa Fe.

Crews say there was an active fire inside the home when they arrived.

Two pets were discovered in the fire, one was dead and the other was reunited with its owner.

Authorities say no one was home when the fire started.

The official cause of the fire is under investigation.
