MetroLink Tulsa will celebrate Halloween with a community event on Thursday called "Trick or Transit."
The event will take place at the Midtown Memorial Station from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Attendees can expect a decorated bus set up as a fun, spooky atmosphere. While the bus won't take anyone on a ride, staff members will hand out candy.
The event is open to all ages, ensuring a friendly environment that is not overly frightening.
Parking will be available at the station, eliminating the need for paid parking.
As Halloween approaches, so does the opportunity for early voting. Starting on Wednesday, the Terence Crutcher Foundation is sponsoring free rides for early voters using the Tulsa Transit GoPass app.
To access the free rides, patrons must enter the code "VOTETUL24" in the app, which is available for download from app stores. The free rides will be available Wednesday through Saturday for early voting.
On Election Day, free rides will also be offered without the need for a code.
Voters can simply hop on board any fixed-route or MicroLink service, as the transit service is providing complimentary transportation for all passengers traveling to or from polling locations.
