Oklahoma State University is hosting a day for prospective students for its Opportunity Orange Scholars program.
The program is for adults ages 18-to-26 who have an intellectual disability and still want a college experience. Students live on campus and take classes to help them with a future career and living independently. Families can learn more about the program, meet the staff, and tour the campus on October 4th.
According to the University, the program "is designated by the U.S. Department of Education as a comprehensive transition and postsecondary education program."
