Oklahoma kicker Tyler Keltner had a flawless performance with three field goals and six extra points against Temple, earning him the title of SEC Co-Special Teams Player of the Week.

The defense also stood out, led by defensive coordinator Zac Alley, who earned praise from his players.

"That boy is a defensive geek. I give my hat to him, he's a defensive geek," said OU defensive back Kani Walker, referring to Alley.

The Sooners' defense forced six turnovers and allowed only three points in Friday's game, showcasing the impact of Alley's summer work with the team.

Freshman defensive tackle Jaden Jackson continues to grab attention with his impressive play. His teammates believe he has a bright future.

"He's very hard-nosed. Every time he gets knocked down, he gets back up. He talks about his family a lot, and the culture he's been involved in, and just how hard-working he is every day," said defensive end Trace Ford.

Damonic Williams, a transfer from TCU, echoed Ford’s sentiments.

"I saw a lot of myself in him. To be honest, it was like seeing him already told him from the beginning that he was going to be great," Williams said.

Jackson disrupted numerous plays and created havoc on the defensive line. The Sooners hope he can replicate that success in their next game against Houston.
