Man Arrested, Accused Of Shooting, Killing 16-Year-Old In Tulsa

A man is in custody accused of shooting and killing a 16-year-old in Tulsa overnight, police say.

TULSA, Okla. -

Tulsa Police said a 16-year-old is dead and a man is in custody after a shooting on Sunday.

TPD said the male victim died at the scene and Damien Gault, 30, was arrested nearby. Police said he was found with a weapon. He's in the Osage County jail accused of first-degree murder.

Officers were called to the scene near West Newton Street and LL Tisdale Parkway around 2:40 a.m. A female was also injured in the shooting. Police said she should be okay. Police are investigating what led to the shooting.
