1 Arrested After Pursuit As Police Continue Search In SW Oklahoma City

One person was arrested Thursday morning after a pursuit in southwestern Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said they were responding to a call shortly before 3 a.m. reporting a car burglary near South Pennsylvania Avenue and Kingsridge Drive.

OCPD said the person reported to them was not stealing a car but was instead in their own vehicle.

Police said they then spotted the vehicle involved and pursued the vehicle into a nearby neighborhood.

Officers said the people inside the vehicle fled from the area, but one person was taken into custody.

OCPD said investigators are looking for additional suspects, but have not released how many.
