OU Fans' Final Wish: Would You Spread Your Ashes Here?

For some, the Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium is more than the 'Palace On The Prairie'. It's sacred ground.

Die-hard OU fans have ranked the Sooner stadium as their top choice to... spread their ashes.

According to a poll conducted by Choice Mutual, Oklahoman's #1 choice for where they'd like their ashes spread was at the Gaylord Memorial Stadium.

But don't get too bitter, the Oklahoma State's Boone Pickens Stadium was close behind.

WHAT WERE THE POLLING RESULTS?

According to Choice Mutual's polling, 3,000 people were hypothetically asked where they would like their ashes spread, if there were no limitations.

According to Choice Mutual, the top three choices among Oklahomas were:

1. University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, or Owen Field
2. Beavers Bend State Park
3. Oklahoma State University's Boone Pickens Stadium

Choice Mutual says that the ideal locations for Oklahomans include beautiful natural scenery, sports arenas, historical landmarks and state-specific preferences.
