With school starting back up within the next few weeks, finding a good afterschool program for your kids can be a challenging task.

The Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma County, a non-profit organization, has put together an afterschool program that is affordable for anyone.

News 9's Jordan Ryan took the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch to the local program to learn more about all of the details.

Teena Belcik, president and CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma County, shared why giving this affordable option to parents is crucial to their mission.

"We're very blessed as a non-profit to have a lot of support from donors in the community, so we are able to offer a high quality youth development program after school and on days when school is closed during fall break for just $5.00 dollars for the entire school year," Belcik said.

The program is offered to students ages five through 18 and includes several different activities for students to participate in.

"We are already in the throes of preparation for this fall and for the school year, we began enrollment last week. We have super fun things planned for the fall, so we just wanted to get the word out because spots do fill up quickly," Belcik said.
