Edmond City leaders and the French Family Charitable Foundation have found common ground on funding for an art sculpture park.

In a 4-1 vote, city leaders agreed to commit at least $15 million to help fund the art park, including a $10 million forgivable loan for the new project near 2nd Street and Coltrane Road.

The park is expected to take two years to build.

One more agreement dealing with operations and maintenance will be on the June 10 council agenda.
