Oklahoma City police need the public's help identifying two wanted shooting suspects. Police said shots were fired from their car as they sped away from a northwest Oklahoma City gas station last weekend.

Police said no one was hurt from the shooting, but bullets hit the gas station and several cars parked at the store.

Shots rang out at a Valero gas station near Northwest 10th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue last Saturday afternoon. Investigators pulled images of the suspects and their car from the store's security cameras. Police want to question the two about the shooting.

“It’s vitally important that we interview them and figure out what happened,” said Sgt. Dillon Quirk, Oklahoma City Police Department.

During the investigation officers learned the target of the shooting was a 52-year-old woman. “It’s unclear if the victim knew these people,” said Quirk.

The victim, who was not hurt, told officers two female suspects walked out of the store and approached her while she was sitting in her car. Police said after a short discussion with the woman the suspects ran to their gray-colored Kia and took off. “As the suspects were fleeing in that vehicle, some shots were fired from that gray car toward the victim,” said Quirk.

A dangerous situation that put several bystanders at risk. Police said the victim's car was hit several times. Bullets also hit the store and three other cars.

Investigators do not know the motive behind the shooting or the identities of the suspects. “We’ve released their pictures on our social media page,” said Quirk. “Hopefully by learning who they are, we can put a little more of that together.”

Police said the car was a newer model Kia Forte with a paper tag. The car was last seen driving south on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police urge the public to call the Crime Stoppers tip line at (405) 235-7300 if they recognize the people in the photos.
