1 Dead After I-40 Crash Near Shawnee, OHP Says

A man from Prague is dead after a crash Sunday evening on eastbound Interstate 40 near Shawnee, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol says.

OHP Troopers said a 70-year-old man was driving without his seat belt on when he lost control of his vehicle and spun out in the middle of the highway.

OHP then said a tractor trailer struck the man from behind, throwing him from his vehicle.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.
