Speed, Slippery Conditions Factors In I-44 Semitruck Crash, OHP Says

High speed and wet road conditions are the cause of a crash involving a semitruck Tuesday evening on Interstate 44, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

OHP and the Oklahoma City Fire Department responded to the crash that happened at around 11 p.m. on I-44 near Lake Hefner Parkway.

Authorities on scene said the driver was unhurt after slamming into a barrier after losing control of the vehicle.

The roadway has since been reopened.
