United Way Of Central Oklahoma Holding 2-Day Event To Celebrate Centennial Campaign

United Way of Central Oklahoma is holding a two-day event to celebrate 100 years of serving the central Oklahoma community.

The fundraising event, presented by FORVIS, will take place on Sept. 6 and 7. 

The two-day event will begin with a wine reception from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 6 at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. Recipients of the UWCO 2023 Campaign Goal and WayFinder Grant will be announced.

The event will continue with “The Hole Shebang!” cornhole tournament on the following day from 4 to 8 p.m. at Scissortail Park. The tournament will feature 81 teams competing.

Proceeds from the wine reception and corn hole tournament will be contributed to UWCO’s 2023 centennial fundraising campaign, which will be invested in 141 health and human service programs at 70 local partner agencies.
