Freezing Start To Tuesday Ahead Of Afternoon Warmup

North winds are up Tuesday morning across Oklahoma! We've had gusts of 30 and 40 mph.

The wind chill is in the teens and low 20s. Clouds are rolling through and might provide a few snow flurries, but the air is too dry for anything more.

We will see sunshine on Tuesday afternoon, but it will remain cold. Highs will be in the 40s with wind chills in the 30s.

Tuesday night we will drop back into the 20s.

Highs on Wednesday will rebound some into the 40s and 50s. We are headed back into the 60s for several days.

Will Oklahoma Have A White Christmas?

Statistically, Oklahoma has a low chance of snow on Christmas Day.

It hasn’t snowed here on Christmas in 12 years, and the last nine Christmases have been snow-free.

However, there’s still hope as we track a couple of systems closer to the holiday. Stay tuned!
