What will the weather be like the rest of the week?
Wednesday and Thursday, rain chances return with slight to moderate chances in the south and eastern parts of the state.
The state fair begins this week, and the weather looks amazing! We sure need more rain, but for now, it is hard to come back. The pattern becomes much more progressive next week.
We are closely monitoring the Gulf of Mexico, where soon-to-be Francine is getting organized. This system could become a Category 1 hurricane over the next couple of days.
The current forecast takes it into western Louisiana with the worst impacts. We may see some rain from the outer bands in Oklahoma, but the highest chances will be in the far southeast.
Next week, storm chances will return, and several storm systems will be lined up.
