Temperatures dip back into the 40s beginning Monday before rebounding above average by midweek.
A cold front is moving in, and the winds behind it will eventually mix the fog out. Clouds should hold on in the Oklahoma City metro for most of the day. Anticipate highs in the 40s and 50s.
What is the weather like on Monday?
Clouds and dense fog developed into the early Monday morning hours, with a light south wind. It is quite dense at times. In locations where the fog is thick, the drizzle is heavier as well.
Some fog will be dense in the morning before giving way to sunshine and brisk north winds by Monday afternoon.
We will clear out this evening. Highs will struggle to make it out of the 40s.
Monday night, lows will fall into the 30s with wind chills in the teens and 20s.
Tuesday will be colder with low 40s for highs and wind chill factors in the 30s.
Sunshine and 50s are on the way Wednesday.
Will Oklahoma Have A White Christmas?
Statistically, Oklahoma has a low chance of snow on Christmas Day.
It hasn’t snowed here on Christmas in 12 years, and the last nine Christmases have been snow-free.
However, there’s still hope as we track a couple of systems closer to the holiday. Stay tuned!
