1 In Custody After Alleged Auto Burglary, Standoff In SW Oklahoma City

One person was taken into custody after an alleged vehicle burglary and a standoff in southwest Oklahoma City, according to Oklahoma City Police.

The incident happened near Southwest 25th Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police said it started when they saw the suspect in the truck allegedly attempting to hot wire it.

Police said they were negotiating with the suspect for about two hours before they were able to take him into custody.
